Vasaikhi with the Prime Minister!

FootEdge Dance Company was extremely honored to have been invited to perform at the Parliament Building in Ottawa for Vasiakhi celebrations! Our six dancers performed for Prime Minister Stephen Harper and had the opportunity to take a few pictures with him. A once in a lifetime experience that FootEdge will never forget!

We were also privelaged to be performing Feburary 10, 2008 as part of South Asian Arts production 'Canada, my India!' for the Cultural Olympiad 2008. The audience experienced an hour of classical, folk and fusion arts, showcasing some of the best talent the Lower Mainland has to offer.

Welcome Message

FootEdge Dance Company is Vancouver’s premiere South Asian dance squad.  Formed in 2005, FootEdge was the brainchild of five local women who had been dancing together for years.  Their vision was clear  - FootEdge would take South Asian dance to new heights in the Vancouver dance community.  And their motto was strikingly complimentary to that vision; FootEdge would “Challenge Dance with Ingenuity.”
